TODAY'S A PH!!:D

So glad that today's a public holiday!! YAY no work finally.(: Planned to start the day with a Mac breakfast, then go cycling with deli, claire and lala sistas. We wanted to try out the quad velo, but it turned out to be a disappointment...haiz so sad right. There goes my beautiful morning!:( We went to the bike shop in the morning and were told that all quad velos are out, so we have to wait for them to come back. The whole system was so horrible you know! It's so disorganized; they didn't even have a queue no system and they don't even keep track of the bookings of their quad velos. Bad attitude ttm...@#%^#&* In the end, after many rounds of disappointments, we decided to not spend a single cent at the bike shop and we went to PP. Claire, lala and I drank bubble tea( which I haven't been drinking for ages), while deli bought this cup of velvet cake yogurt from sogurt. It looks appetizing haha! Perhaps I could try it next time!(:

Now I'm back at home, I've decided to slack and save my energy for work tmr!(: Still hoping the best for my scholarship interview. Hope I'll get it.(: GOD PLS GRANT ME GOOD NEWS SOON.:D

Omg this is so funny; accidentally chanced upon the chinese blog that I used to have 4 years ago! so epic lol! I still remember all of us have that blog because it's our assignment given by leelaoshi. As I read through the articles I wrote in the past, I was so shocked and amazed! I'm not sure I have this feeling because I haven't wrote anything in chinese for ages or for whatsoever reason. It's just HILARIOUS. This is the link http://ahscobass1234.blogspot.com. Today's monday. What does it mean? Start of the week!!! Ahhhhhh I was having monday blues at work early in the morning. I've no idea why and this morning was so hectic.:/zzzzzzzz. Anyway, things weren't that bad. I had 3 patients today who are so nice.:D I was doing ECG for this uncle in his 40s. He told me beforehand that he did ECG last year and the nurse asked him to repeat his ECG again. Reason being there was some abnormalities; something like the heart will beat irregularly and miss 1 or 2 beats at times..I was quite worried when I heard that and I was expecting some abnormalities with his ECG result. However, as the report was being printed, I could see that it's a normal sinus rhythm and the heartbeat was regular. Nothing seems wrong to me, so I just conveyed my message to him and asked the uncle to take a seat outside while I confirm his case with Doctor Wong. Doc Wong confirmed that everything is normal. YAY! I was so glad and I felt this simple sense of achievement. As I came out and told the uncle that everything is fine, he gave me a thumbs-up and said, " Maybe because you have the skills". At that moment, I feel that nursing is such a fulfilling job. Indeed, a simple gesture of such can really make my day. It really serves as a motivation for me to keep going on, even though I will meet unreasonable patients at times.

Reflections

HELLO. Just went for my first scholarship interview this morning. I can say that it was a disaster..:/

Omg I've no idea why I was so nervous. This is not the first interview in my life, so why was I freaked out?? SERIOUSLY DUNNO WHY GOSH.

Anyway, I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

I can't just keep looking back right. So I should take it as a lesson learnt.

Let me just work hard and relax for the upcoming interview!(:

What's mine will be mine.

Just take it easy and be natural.

Everything will be fine. GAMBATTE!!:D
